How to add DNS records in Cloudflare
If your domain is managed through Cloudflare, follow the steps below to add the DNS records that Suppli provides during your custom email domain setup.
Before you start
Make sure you have the 5 DNS records from Suppli ready — we'll have sent these to you after registering your domain. You'll also need to be logged in to the Cloudflare account that manages your domain.
Steps
Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in to your account.
From your account home, select the domain you want to update.
In the left sidebar, click DNS, then select Records.
Click Add record.
In the Type dropdown, select the record type (TXT, MX, or CNAME) as specified by Suppli.
Fill in the Name and Content fields using the values provided by Suppli.
For CNAME and MX records, make sure Proxy status is set to DNS only (grey cloud, not orange). Email records should not be proxied.
Leave TTL as Auto.
Click Save.
Repeat steps 4–9 for each of the 5 DNS records.
Once all records are added
Let Suppli know you've added all 5 records and we'll verify your domain. Cloudflare typically propagates DNS changes within minutes, so verification is usually quick.
Troubleshooting
If you see a message saying your domain's nameservers aren't managed by Cloudflare, your DNS may be managed elsewhere (e.g. your domain registrar). Check with your IT team to confirm where your DNS is hosted, then follow the guide for that provider instead.
If you're unsure whether a record was added correctly, you can review all records from the DNS > Records page in your Cloudflare dashboard.
