What happens if there is a chargeback?

Edited

A chargeback occurs if a customer disputes a transaction. This can occur for both card and ACH transactions. Once a customer initiates a transaction dispute, the card issuer or bank will conduct a review and may seek documentation supporting that the transaction was valid.

To reduce chargeback risks, all transactions in supply require consent to our Account Terms but we also recommend keeping a record of any credit applications, invoices or delivery tickets.

Once a chargeback is initiated, the funds will be returned to the processor and will ultimately be released if the chargeback review results in your favor.

Chargebacks are display-only in the Suppli interface; they do not change anything sync-wise with your ERP. The reason for this is that the chargeback can (and usually will) occur days after we have pushed a payment to the ERP (i.e. Intacct, Bistrack, Quickbooks, DMSi, etc.) – hence, Suppli does not do anything besides showing the updated status, sending a notification, and leaving the rest up to you to adjust.

Please email support@gosuppli.com if you have any questions.
