Why did a payment fail?

There are several reasons why a payment might fail. Some common causes are listed below:

  • Incorrect Information: The card or bank account information was entered incorrectly 

  • Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF): The card or bank account does not have adequate funds 

  • Blocked Payment: To reduce chargeback risks the card issuer may have blocked the payment if they felt the transaction was high risks. 

If a payment fails, we recommend confirming you have entered in the correct information and then trying again. If it fails a second time, we recommend reaching out to the customer and asking for an alternative form of payment.
